Åbo Akademis Studentkår ordnar traditionellt Wappen på Vårdberget. Brahe Djäknar och Florakören sjunger in våren och Yle filmar för direktsändning. Programmet börjar kl. 18.00 och under Studentkårens styrelseordförandes tal sätter vi gemensamt på studentmössorna.

On 30 April students gather to celebrate the start of Wappen, the first of May. Åbo Akademi University’s students in Turku meet at Vartiovuori/Vårdberget. We bring our student caps along and approx. 6.03 pm we all put them on our heads together. The choirs Brahe Djäknar and Florakören sing and Yle sends live.

In Vasa the students meet in Hoviska before 6 pm. Come along and celebrate in Åbo or Vasa! You don’t need a cap to have fun!
