ÅAS utmanar studerande och alumner att synliggöra halare under vappveckan med #Hissahalaren2020 -kampanj
ÅAS har kommit ut med en kampanj som utmanar studerande och alumner att hänga upp halaren på ett synligt ställe, till exempel fönstret eller balkongen, under vappveckan. Syftet med kampanjen är att synliggöra studerandevappen och sprida vappstämning. Andra budskapet är att fira vappen hemma.
“Det är roligt att se hur föreningar har tagit på sig utmaningen och spridit budskapet. Målet är att det ska vara svårt att gå i Åbo eller Vasa utan att se en halare i fönstret denna vecka”, säger studentkårens styrelseordförande Matias Martelin.
Idén till kampanjen härstammar från Åbo Universitets Studentkår (TYY) som utmanade andra student- och studerandekårer i Åbo att delta i kampanjen.
Man kan delta i kampanjen genom att hänga upp halaren på ett synligt ställe och ladda upp en bild av halaren med hashtaggen #Hissahalaren2020 eller #Hoisttheoverall2020
The Student Union invites students and alumni to display their overalls during May day -week with the #Hoisttheoverall2020 campaign
The Student Union of Åbo Akademi has launched a campaign that challenges students and alumni to hang their overalls at a visible place, for example a window or balcony, during this week’s May-day celebrations. The idea is to showcase the students’ May-day celebrations. The other goal is to spread the message of staying home during this festive week.
“It is nice to see how student associations have taken on this challenge and are spreading the message. The goal is that it is impossible to avoid seeing a pair of overalls in a window, whilst walking on the streets of Turku or Vaasa” says Matias Martelin, the Chair of the Board at the Student Union of ÅAU.
The idea for the campaign originates from the Student Union of the University of Turku (TYY). TYY has challenged all Student Unions in Turku to join the campaign.
One can take part in the campaign by hanging your overall at a visible place and posting of picture on social media using the hashtag, #Hoisttheoverall2020 or #Hissahalaren2020.
