Student lunch (Kårkaféerna)
According to the government’s instructions, Åbo Akademi University will close all physical facilities on campus, beginning from 18.3.2020.
This means that also the doors to all of our restaurants will be closed until further notice.
We are devastated not to be able to provide you with either nutritious food or a place to hang out. However, under these circumstances, this is the only right decision. We look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible. Until then, take care of yourselves and look after each other!

The Student Union advises and supports student associations
The government has declared a state of emergency, which prohibits gatherings of more than 10 people. The student union advises associations to cancel their events and bigger meetings for the time being. The development and use of digital solutions is recommended.
It is nice to see how associations are being creative in offering their members different ways to socialize despite the difficult situation. We hope the associations share their ideas with each other, and showcase the strength of our close community.
We continue guiding and supporting the student associations through a continuous dialog.
Student Associations are to follow the instructions given by the government, the University and THL, and prioritise their members’ health and wellbeing.
